What I think Dreamworks How To Train Your Dragon 2 and 3 would look like as an anime. I adapted this from the HTTYD2 teaser trailer from way back in 2014 and a bit of my own HTTYD3 scene based off the Hidden World trailers there are at this point. If How To Train Your Dragon were a full anime, I would imagine it to be a two- or three-season series about the adventures of Hikku (Hiccup) and Tuusu (Toothless). Kinda like an anime spinoff of the existing HTTYD movies and series. One of the toughest animations I've worked on since Let It Go Genderbend because I can hardly animate animals. XP

Anyway, enjoy! :)

Big thanks to Koji Asano, JohnWangVO, and a whole bunch of acquaintances on Facebook and Discord who know Japanese who helped me with the Japanese translation/script stuff. You guys are awesome!

How To Train Your Dragon is originally a Dreamworks Animation production. It is about Hiccup, a young viking from Berk, who meets a Night Fury dragon which he calls Toothless. Hiccup then tries to create a peaceful viking-dragon utopia. The franchise consists of 3 movies, How To Train Your Dragon, How To Train Your Dragon 2 and How To Train Your Dragon The Hidden World, tv series Dragons: Riders of Berk, Dragons: Defenders of Berk and Dragons: Race to the Edge. There are also a few short films titled Legend of the Boneknapper Dragon, Book of Dragons, Gift of the Night Fury and Dawn of the Dragon Racers. Other characters in HTTYD are Hiccup's friends Astrid, Fishlegs, Snotlout and the twins Ruffnut and Tuffnut, and the chief of Berk Stoick the Vast and his trusty friend Gobber. HTTYD3 features a Light Fury. HTTYD's Japanese version is called "Hikku to Doragon" (ヒックとドラゴン).
